Korean People’s Struggle Supported by Egyptian Political Parties

Pyongyang, January 23 (KCNA) — There took place a joint meeting of Egyptian political parties in Cairo on January 17 to voice solidarity to the struggle of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the Korean people.

On display at the venue of the meeting were works of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.
Leaders and members of more than 10 Egyptian political parties were present and the DPRK ambassador to Egypt and staff members of his embassy were present on invitation.
Yehia Zakaria Khairullah, vice-chairman of the Socialist Freedom Party of Egypt and chairman of the Egypt-Korea Friendship Association, referred to the validity and invincible vitality of the Songun idea fathered and developed by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, and the DPRK’s successful first H-bomb test and its historical significance.
Speakers said at the meeting that the DPRK’s successful first H-bomb test marked a great event which changed the balance of forces in the world where the U.S. goes reckless as it pleases and a just measure making a substantial contribution to protecting security and peace in the world, instilling great confidence and courage into the world progressives including Egyptians.
