Home-made Electric Goods Win Popularity in DPRK

Pyongyang, January 25 (KCNA) — The Pyongyang Chonbong Exchange Company in the DPRK has turned out electric goods popular among citizens with domestic technology.

According to its section chief Kim Ku Nam, the company takes it as an important policy-oriented requirement to improve product quality, ensure domestic production of equipment and rely on locally available raw and other materials as supreme leader Kim Jong Un said in his New Year address.
In recent five years it made long strides in localizing high-performance electric products.
They include gel high-performance rechargeable battery, voltage frequency stabilizer, uninterrupted power supply (UPS) and intelligent high-speed charger. Those products are good in terms of serviceable life and efficiency.
Technique of producing gel high-performance rechargeable battery and high-power direct-current supply system developed by the company won international and national patents.
The company is now conducting technical exchange with Russia and Southeast Asian countries.
