Pyongyang, January 28 (KCNA) — Organizations of Koreans in America including the Federation of Koreans in the U.S. and the People for Carving out Future held a meeting in front of the building of the federal government on January 23 denouncing the U.S. undersecretary of State for making the reckless remarks on the “agreement” on the issue of sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army.
Speakers recalled that referring to the action of the Koreans in the U.S. against the “agreement” concluded between Japan and south Korea the U.S. undersecretary of State cried out for respecting the contents and the spirit of the agreement, touching off uproar.
They urged the U.S. to dismiss its undersecretary of State and demand the Japanese government reinvestigate the crimes related to the sexual slavery and make a formal apology and reparation for them.
