Pyongyang, April 9 (KCNA) — Dancing parties of youth and students took place Saturday across the country on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il’s election as chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK.
Dancing parties began with song “The Fortune of Korea” at the venues of dancing parties in Pyongyang including the plazas of the Arch of Triumph and the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium.
They danced recollecting the feats Kim Jong Il performed by training the young people as staunch fighters to accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche.
Such songs as “Youth and Courage” and “Dash toward Future” were played to rev up the atmosphere.
Dancing parties were also held at provincial seats, cities and counties that day.
