Pyongyang, April 11 (KCNA) — There took place a remembrance meeting of the families of those related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle at the DPRK embassy in Beijing on April 7 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (the Day of the Sun).
Present at the meeting were families of Korean anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters in China, Chinese anti-Japanese revolutionary martyrs and Chinese related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle and the DPRK ambassador to China and his embassy officials.
The participants laid floral baskets and bouquets before the portraits of the President and leader Kim Jong Il with broad smiles on their faces and paid tribute to them.
Zhang Jinlu, daughter of Zhang Weihua, said she missed the President very much with the approach of his 104th birth anniversary and could never forget the warm love the President showed for the bereaved families of Zhang Weihua as he would do his own children.
Zhou Wei, daughter of Zhou Baozhon; Yu Ming, son of Li Zade; a daughter-in-law of mentor Shang Yue and a son of Feng Zhongyun expressed the expectation that the friendship between the two countries would develop down through generations, remembering the days of fatherly love shown by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
