Greetings to Kim Jong Un from Palestinian President

Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) — Kim Jong Un, first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, received a message of greeting from Mahmoud Abbas, president of the State of Palestine and chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, on April 13.

The president in the message said:
We are glad to extend the warmest congratulations and best wishes to Your Excellency and, through you, to the friendly Korean people on the significant occasion of the 104th birth anniversary of eternal HE President Kim Il Sung, the great leader, and on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the DPRK and the State of Palestine.
The DPRK, which is among the early states that forged diplomatic relations with Palestine, has supported the national right of our people in all international arenas and developed the DPRK-Palestine friendly and cooperative relations even before the establishment of diplomatic relations.
Our Palestinian people struggling to retake the national right and build an independent state amid the support of our brothers and friends led by your country are proud of the historic relations with your friendly country and highly estimate the invariable stand taken by your country to the just cause of the Palestinian people.
Extending the warmest congratulations to Your Excellency, I sincerely wish you good health and happiness.
I also wish the friendly Korean people greater progress and prosperity and hope that the relations of friendship and solidarity between the peoples of our two countries will steadily develop.
