Ruling Party Heavily Defeated in “National Assembly” Election in S. Korea

Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) — There took place a “National Assembly” election in south Korea Wednesday.

The ruling “Saenuri Party” suffered a heavy defeat in the election as majority of seats went to the Dobulo Democratic Party, the Party of People and other opposition parties.
As a result, the Dobulo Democratic Party became the leading party in the “National Assembly.”
The leadership of the ruling party admitted the defeat and expressed the will to step down.
