Korean Photo, Book and Art Exhibitions Open in Peru, Russia, Bulgaria

Pyongyang, April 17 (KCNA) — Korean photo, book and art exhibitions opened with due ceremonies in Lima of Peru, Irkutsk of Russia and Sofia of Bulgaria on April 6 and 8 to mark the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (the Day of the Sun).

Displayed at the venues of the exhibitions were photos showing the exploits of Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.
Also on display there were their works, books and photos introducing the DPRK and art pieces associated with the wisdom and talents of the Korean people.
The president of the Peruvian National Independent Movement for Free Voting’s Union praised Kim Il Sung as the great leader and great statesman, adding that it was a great honor of the Peruvian people to hold the Korean exhibition on the occasion of the Day of the Sun.
A deputy governor of Irkutsk Region, Russia said:
The exhibition will help introduce the time-honored history of Korea, the reality of the DPRK, distinguished wisdom and talents of the Korean people and prominent national characteristics.
Friendship between the peoples of Russia and the DPRK is being boosted through cultural exchange and cooperation.
The president of the Central Council of the Bulgarian Anti-Fascist Union said that the exhibition will offer the Bulgarian people an opportunity of knowing about the recent successes in the DPRK. The Korean people would as ever dynamically advance toward the final victory along the road of their choice, he added.
