S. Korean Students Hold Anti-“Government” Struggle

Pyongyang, April 17 (KCNA) — Students throughout south Korea staged an action in Seoul on April 16, two years since the ferry Sewol disaster, according to the south Korean internet newspaper Voice of People.

The Students Preparatory Committee for Probing the Truth behind the April 16 Ferry Sewol Disaster held a meeting together with 78 organizations including the April 16 Solidarity.
Speakers said that the students would directly probe the truth behind the disaster to the end.
They strongly denounced the regime and the ruling party for obstructing the probe into the truth.
The participants staged a demo.
They participated in an all-people candlelight rally.
Meanwhile, university freshmen made public a declaration before the Seoul Sejong Cultural Center that day demanding the probe into the truth behind the disaster.
