Pyongyang, April 18 (KCNA) — President Kim Il Sung was registered honorary chairman of the Communist Party of the DR Congo on his birth anniversary.
A relevant decision was adopted at the plenary meeting of the Central Committee of the party on April 10.
An event took place on April 11 to convey a certificate of the honorary chairman of the party.
Present at the event were the general secretary of the party, figures of its Central Committee, the charge d’affaires ad interim and staff members of the DPRK embassy in Kinshasa.
The participants paid tribute to the art piece depicting Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il standing together.
The general secretary of the party conveyed the certificate to the charge d’affaires ad interim of the DPRK embassy.
Letters “Communist Party of the DR Congo Membership Card” were written on the upper part of the certificate, the portrait of the smiling peerlessly great man on its center and letters “The Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung, Honorary Chairman of the Communist Party of the DR Congo” on its lower part.
