Pyongyang, April 20 (KCNA) — A candlelight rally took place to honor the memory of victims of the ferry Sewol disaster at the plaza of Taejon Railway Station in south Korea on April 15 on the lapse of two years since the disaster.
Present there were members of organizations including the Taejon Measure Council for Probing the Ferry Sewol Disaster, victims’ bereaved families and citizens in Taejon.
Speakers there said that they would surely probe the truth despite obstructions on the part of the “government” and ruling party.
A letter of sympathy of students to the victims and their bereaved families was read out and a diverse performance honoring the memory of the victims given.
At the end of the rally the participants marched along streets of Taejon City.
