DPRK’s TV Drama “Bulletproof Wall” Wins Special Prize

Moscow, April 22 (KCNA Correspondent) — TV drama “Bulletproof Wall” of the DPRK won a diploma of special prize at the 18th International Spy Film Festival held in Moscow.

More than 400 spy films of 57 countries including the DPRK, Mongolia, Iran, Australia and France were presented to the festival which opened on April 20.
The prize-giving ceremony took place at the building of the Social House of Russia on April 21. A diploma of special prize was conveyed to members of a DPRK film festival delegation.
Delegates of Austria, Kazakhstan and other countries and many delegates of TV broadcasting and film companies of Russia expressed their intention to air it on their TV channels, appreciating it as an excellent one unique and peculiar in its theme.
The stage of the TV drama is set against the background of the eve of the operation for Korea’s liberation in the last period of the anti-Japanese armed struggle and years after the country’s liberation. It makes a truthful artistic depiction of the tradition of devotedly defending the leader established by the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners and the noble mental spirit of patriots.
