Pyongyang, April 23 (KCNA) — Foreign newspapers dedicated special write-ups to the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.
The April 1st-May 2nd issue of the Peruvian newspaper Accion Nacionalista carried an article titled “Kim Il Sung, great man of the century” illustrated with photos dealing with the exploits of the President and leader Kim Jong Il.
The article said that human history does not know such a great man as the President who has been boundlessly revered by all people for centuries.
It noted that he was a veteran statesman in the world who led the cause of human independence under the uplifted banner of anti-imperialist independence all his life and a rarely great sage who impressed the world with his noble loving care and virtues.
The April 9th issue of the Thai Xing San Daily carried a special write-up illustrated with a portrait of the smiling President.
It introduced in detail his ideological, theoretical and leadership exploits and said that his sunny smile is full of faith and optimism about the rosy future of socialist Korea.
On the same day, the Syrian newspaper Tishrin in an article illustrated with his photo lauded him for working an unprecedented miracle by defeating the U.S. imperialists who boasted of being the “strongest” in the world and their followers in the 1950s.
The April 8th issue of the Guinean newspaper Horoya edited an article accompanied with a photo of his birth place in Mangyongdae.
It lauded Kim Il Sung as the greatest man of the 20th century, saying that he rendered the positive support to a lot of countries and people in their struggle for the national liberation against imperialism and building of a new society and made a great contribution to developing the non-aligned movement.
