Day of Sun Observed by Russian Newspaper

Pyongyang, April 24 (KCNA) — The Russian newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda carried special write-ups several times between April 6 and 15 illustrated with portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and his photos and photos of leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un on the occasions of the Day of the Sun (the birth anniversary of the President) and the Seventh Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

In an article titled “Sunny smile” it said one can see the image of the President like the sun everywhere in the DPRK. It introduced in detail the satisfaction and pride of human being and statesman with the smile of the great man and the conviction and optimism about the bright future of socialist Korea.
The newspaper in an article titled “Kim Il Sung, great man of century” said the human history records many prominent figures but does not know such a great man as the President who has been boundlessly revered by all people for centuries.
In an article titled “Outstanding strategist” it dealt with the undying feats performed by the President in the Fatherland Liberation War, citing the data on the bitter defeat the U.S. imperialists suffered while vaunting victory.
In an article titled “Bright plan for socialist construction being translated into reality” it said that the Workers’ Party of Korea led to victory the difficult and complicated struggle in the 20th century and firmly united all the service personnel and people around their leaders to arouse them to defend socialism and provided a springboard for building a thriving nation.
