KPA Song and Dance Ensemble Celebrate Army Day

Pyongyang, April 25 (KCNA) — The Korean People’s Army Song and Dance Ensemble gave a performance at the Ponghwa Art Theatre Monday, the day of the army building.

Put on the stage were such colorful numbers as chorus “Glory to General Kim Jong Un” and kayagum ensemble and male pangchang “Song of Big Fish Haul”.
In serial songs “Under the Banner of the Party” and orchestra and chorus “We’ll Travel One Road Forever” the performers impressively represented the steadfast revolutionary faith and will of the army and people of the DPRK who have taken the road of revolution without any vacillation while devotedly defending the cause of Juche, the cause of the party under the leadership of the Songun brilliant commanders of Mt. Paektu.
Men’s vocal sextet and trombone solo “Meaningful Soldiers’ Days” and dance “Kitchen Car Runs” added to the atmosphere.
Watching the performance were Kim Yong Nam, Pak Pong Ju and other senior officials of the party, state and army, the chairperson of a friendly party, officials of the party and armed forces organs, ministries and national institutions, service personnel of the Korean People’s Army and the Korean People’s Internal Security Forces, officials and persons of merits of institutions and industrial establishments in Pyongyang.
Among the audience were the chief of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front and overseas Koreans.
Invited to see the performance were foreign diplomatic envoys and military attaches of foreign embassies here and their spouses.
