Pyongyang, April 26 (KCNA) — Meetings, photo, book and handicraft exhibitions and film shows took place in Mexico City and Queretaro State of Mexico, Cotonou of Benin and Helsinki of Finland from April 13 to 15 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.
On display at the venues of the events were photos dealing with the immortal exploits of the President, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.
Also displayed there were their works, books and photos introducing Juche Korea dashing forward to the final victory and handicrafts associated with the wisdom and talents of the Korean people.
The participants of the film shows watched the Korean film “Grand Celebration of 70th Founding Anniversary of Workers’ Party of Korea in Presence of Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un”.
Jesus Antonio Carlos Hernandez, general secretary of the Central Committee of the People’s Socialist Party of Mexico, said that Kim Il Sung saved the Korean people from the colonial slavery of the Japanese imperialists and built a socialist state centered on the popular masses.
Ali Houdou, president of the Socialist Party of Benin, said that Kim Il Sung founded the Juche idea and Songun idea, led the Korean revolution to victory and dynamically propelled the cause of human independence.
Pekka Kotkasaari, chairman of the Finland-Korea Society, Juha Kieksy, chairman of the Finnish National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, and other personages lauded Kim Il Sung for dedicating his whole life to the country’s prosperity, people’s happiness and national reunification.
Messages of greeting to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the events held in Finland.
