Pyongyang, May 4 (KCNA) — Big efforts have been paid to breeding salmon in the DPRK.

The Sinpho Office for Stocking the River Tonggol with Fishes under the South Hamgyong Provincial Fishery Management Bureau recently released hundreds of thousands of fries in the river and its streams, after incubating a large quantity of spawn by introducing advanced technology.
It also manufactured automatic food-supplying machine by its own efforts and put the control of water temperature and oxygenation at nurseries on a scientific basis.
Such achievements have been made at other offices for stocking in different parts of the country.
