Pyongyang, May 8 (KCNA) — Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), received a congratulatory message from Petro Nikolayevich Symonenko, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Ukrainian Communist Party, on May 2.
The Ukrainian party leader in his message extended sincere congratulations to the delegates and guests of the Seventh Congress of the WPK, an important political event of the party and the state, and all communists and heroic people of the DPRK on behalf of the C.C., the Ukrainian Communist Party and on his own behalf.
The message noted that the Seventh Congress of the WPK is to be held under the complicated situation in which an overall crisis of capitalist system in the world is deepening and geopolitical contradictions festering internationally.
Under such situation, the WPK has invariably adhered to its firm line while successfully ensuring the country’s stable development, it said.
It wished the WPK Congress success in its work.
It expressed belief that the decisions of the congress would make a contribution to further reinforcing the party’s ranks and enhancing its authority in the society.
