Meeting for Congratulating WPK on Its 7th Congress Held in Bulgaria

Pyongyang, May 8 (KCNA) — A meeting took place in Bulgaria on April 28 on the occasion of the 7th Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK).

Present at the meeting were figures of the political parties, organizations and institutions such as the Bulgarian Communists’ Party, the Bulgarian Anti-Fascist Union, the Bulgarian Communists Union, the Bulgaria-Korea Friendship Association and Kim Il Sung Library in Sofia and masses.
The chairman of the Bulgarian Communists’ Party who doubles as chairman of the Bulgaria-Korea Friendship Association in a report extended the sincerest congratulations to Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the Korean people, on the occasion of the 7th Congress of the WPK.
He stressed that the congress would be a significant one as it would consolidate the position and role of the WPK and dynamically propel the Korean people to accomplishing the cause of building a thriving socialist nation and reunifying the country.
Speakers including the chairman of the Central Council of the Bulgarian Anti-Fascist Union and the honorary chairman of the Bulgarian Communists Union said that it is the great joy of not only the Korean people but also the Bulgarian people that Kim Jong Un was elected the delegate to the 7th Congress of the WPK.
They hoped that the Korean people would continue to win only victory in their struggle for building a thriving socialist nation and making the world independent under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un.
Congratulatory messages to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the meeting.
