Mass Rallies Celebrate WPK Seventh Congress

Pyongyang, May 18 (KCNA) — There took place mass rallies in North Hamgyong Province and Rason City on Wednesday to celebrate the Seventh Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK).

Present there were officials, working people, youths and students of the party, power and economic bodies, working people’s organizations, industrial establishments, farms and universities in the province and the city.
Speakers said that Marshal Kim Jong Un was elected chairman of the WPK at the Party Seventh Congress, reflecting the unanimous intention and desire of the whole party, the entire army and all the people.
They went on:
The Party Seventh Congress was the one of victory and glory which marked a new watershed in the struggle to further strengthen the WPK and accomplish the cause of the Juche revolution.
At the congress the WPK fully demonstrated the revolutionary character and invincibility as the Juche-oriented party and once again showcased the world the political and ideological might of the revolutionary ranks single-mindedly united around the party and the leader.
The speakers called on all the officials, party members and working people to turn out in the struggle to implement the decision of the party congress.
Then followed mass demonstrations.
