Successful 7th Congress of WPK Celebrated at DPRK Embassy in Moscow

Pyongyang, May 18 (KCNA) — The DPRK embassy in Moscow hosted a reception on Monday as regards the successful holding of the 7th Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK).

Present there on invitation were Kalashnikov, secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation who doubles as first vice-chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the State Duma of Russia, Umalatova, chairperson of the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia, Ponomaryov, chairman of the Parliamentary Group for Russia-DPRK Friendship, Ovsyannikov, head of the Orchestra of the 21st Century, Prokhanov, editor-in-chief of the Russian newspaper Zavtra, and other figures of the political parties, parliament, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, friendly associations, organizations for the study of the Juche idea and media.
Present there were the DPRK charge d’ affaires ad interim and members of his embassy.
The participants laid floral baskets and bouquets before an art piece depicting President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il standing together and paid tribute to them.
They looked round the photos dealing with the exploits of Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.
Speeches were made there.
A reception was hosted by the DPRK consulate general in Vladivostok on May 13.
