Successful Seventh Congress of WPK Celebrated by Koreans in Germany

Pyongyang, May 18 (KCNA) — The Society for Cooperation among Koreans in Germany released a statement on May 13 in celebration of the 7th Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK).

Noting the society warmly welcomes and congratulates the WPK on its successful 7th congress which opened up the rosy future of a reunified powerful nation for all Koreans and clarified at home and abroad the principled issues arising in dynamically stepping up the cause of global independence, the statement said:
A proposal to pave the path for reunification by steadily preserving the three charters for national reunification was advanced at the congress.
The great programme for reunification, which calls for founding a federal state on the basis of recognizing the differing ideas and social systems in the north and the south, as desired and demanded by the entire nation, and carrying out the June 15 joint declaration and the programme for implementing it the October 4 declaration, is the most fair proposal that can be accepted by everyone.
The congress which proudly declared before all Koreans and the world the resolution to build a reunified powerful country by winning a great victory of the Songun politics is an epochal event that put an end to the foolish dream of the U.S.
We enthusiastically support the appeal made at the congress which called for implementing all decisions made at the congress and declaring with pride before the whole world the complete victory of socialism in the DPRK.
