S. Korean Authorities Accused of Trampling down Workers’ Right to Existence

Pyongyang, May 20 (KCNA) — The south Korean internet paper Minjok Ilbo in an editorial on May 17 denounced the authorities for mercilessly trampling down the workers’ right to existence through restructuring.

It recalled that a worker hired by the Samsung Heavy Industries as a subcontractor again committed a suicide owing to the restructuring of the shipyard’s management.
The workers society described this incident as a murder by the regime and the Samsung Heavy Industries as they pass the buck for the shipyard’s poor management upon the part-time workers and subcontractors and force man-killing restructuring on workers, it held.
It deployed that such tragedy cannot but go on unless shackling and deformation economic structure remains unchanged.
