Pyongyang, May 23 (KCNA) — A ceremony took place at the presidential palace in Malabo on May 21 to welcome Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK, on an official visit to the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.
Attending it were Kim Yong Nam and Sin Hong Chol, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, Kwak Ji Hwan, DPRK ambassador to Equatorial Guinea, and other suite members.
Present were President Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and the first vice-president, speakers of the lower and upper houses of the Parliament and government officials of Equatorial Guinea.
Kim Yong Nam was greeted by Obiang Nguema Mbasogo at the entrance to the palace.
He, accompanied by Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, reviewed the guards of honor of the Equatorial Guinean armed forces.
