Pyongyang, May 24 (KCNA) — Talks between Ri Su Yong, member of the Political Bureau and vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), and Eliseu Joaquim Machava, secretary general of the Mozambique Liberation Front Party (MLFP) were held in Pyongyang on Tuesday.
Present at the talks were Pak Kun Gwang, vice department director of the C.C., WPK, and other officials of the Party Central Committee and members of the delegation of the MLFP.
At the talks both sides informed each other of the activities of their parties, discussed the matter of further developing the bilateral relations and exchanged views on the matters of mutual concern.
The secretary general extended warm congratulations to supreme leader Kim Jong Un on his election as chairman of the WPK at its 7th congress on behalf of Filipe Nwussi, president of the Republic of Mozambique who is chairman of the MLFP, and the party.
He stressed that the MLFP would expand and develop the friendly and cooperative relations with the WPK at a high level.
