Kim Yong Nam Greets African Union

Pyongyang, May 25 (KCNA) — Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK, Wednesday sent a message of greeting to Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, chairperson of the Commission of African Union, on the occasion of Day of Africa.

The message said that the DPRK government and people extended invariable support and solidarity to the African people in their independent and just struggle to reject all kinds of domination and interference of outside forces and achieve durable peace and stability, socio-economic development of the continent by their united efforts and sincerely wished the African Union big success in the work to enhance the continent’s prestige and say in the international arena.
It expressed belief that the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the DPRK and the African Union and its members would grow stronger.
