Pyongyang, May 29 (KCNA) — The Russian newspaper Zavtra No. 19 carried an article titled “A power in the East” written by its deputy editor Andrei Fefelov.
The article said:
The Seventh Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) was successfully held.
For the country, which is not big in its territory but advancing purposefully, this marked an epoch-making event.
The power in the East has made steady progress and is ready to weather any ordeal.
The Korean people united like a clenched fist have brought about excellent results through a high-pitched labor drive.
Even after the said congress which marked a historic watershed, the Korean people will continue their dynamic charge for building a land of bliss.
The indomitable will of the Korean people and the orderly and well-organized ranks and cheers, passion and militant salute to their young leader at the Pyongyang mass rally and public procession celebrating the Seventh Congress of the WPK clearly demonstrated the invincibility of the country.
The Korean people’s songs respecting the great leaders and dynamic and exciting songs are now heard in the DPRK to spur the drive for creation.
The DPRK, a power in the East, is dynamically advancing, demonstrating its perseverance and purposefulness despite the vicious moves to isolate and stifle it.
