7th Congress of WPK Praised by Indian Political Figure

Pyongyang, June 18 (KCNA) — Debabrata Biswas, general secretary of the Central Committee of the All-India Forward Bloc, issued a statement on June 12 in congratulation of the successful 7th Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK).

The statement said:
Comrade Kim Jong Un clearly indicated the orientation and way of ensuring peace on the Korean peninsula and in the world in his report on the review of the work of the Central Committee of the WPK made at its 7th Congress.
In his report he said that the north and south of Korea should respect each other, join hands together as companions of reunification and open a new chapter of the improvement of inter-Korean relations and the movement for national reunification.
He stressed the need to defuse the military tensions and solve all issues through dialogue and negotiations.
We positively support his report.
We extend congratulations to him on his election as chairman of the WPK.
We extend firm solidarity to the WPK and the Korean people working hard for building a socialist power against imperialism under his wise leadership.
