DPRK’s Anniversaries Marked in Nigeria, Sweden

Pyongyang, June 19 (KCNA) — Diverse events took place in foreign countries on the 52nd anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il’s start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) and the 16th anniversary of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration.

They were a seminar on of his work and an opening ceremony of the week of a photo exhibition in Nigeria and a seminar, photo and book exhibition and film show in Sweden on June 12 and 13.
Displayed at the venues of the events were photos documenting the exploits of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.
Also on display were their works and books on their greatness and photos and books introducing the struggle of the DPRK’s servicepersons and people for building a socialist power.
Korean film “Grand Celebration of 70th Founding Anniversary of Workers’ Party of Korea in Presence of Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un” was shown at the film show.
The chairman of the Nigerian Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism explained the main contents of Kim Jong Il’s work “Our Socialism Centred on the Masses Shall Not Perish” and said as follows:
HE Kim Jong Il built the WPK into a genuine mother party which takes care of the destiny of the people in a responsible manner.
He led the WPK and the Korean people to shatter the foreign forces’ war moves and pave a broad avenue to national reunification.
A vice department director of the Art and Cultural Council of the Ministry of Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria praised Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il as the great men who built the WPK into an invincible and people’s party.
The chief of the Swedish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea said the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration is a precious fruition of the noble patriotic idea of Kim Jong Il.
A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the event held in Sweden.
