The chairman of the Nepali Literary Forum for the Study of Songun Politics and other speakers said that the north-south summit was provided in Pyongyang in June 2000 for the first time in the history of Korea’s division and the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration was adopted thanks to leader Kim Jong Il’s idea of loving the country, the nation and the people.
The joint declaration which promised to reunify the country by the efforts of the Korean nation free from outsiders’ interference in the idea of By the Korean Nation Itself is the immortal great programme for achieving the independent reunification of Korea, they noted.
Extending full support and solidarity to the Korean people in their struggle to reunify the country in the spirit of the joint declaration, they strongly demanded the south Korean puppet authorities respect the joint declaration and thoroughly implement it.

He accused the south Korean puppet group of totally denying the joint declaration and resorting to a foolish move to realize the “unification by absorption” with the backing of foreign forces. He urged the south Korean authorities to respect the unanimous will of the whole Korean nation to reunify the country in the spirit of the joint declaration.
