Pyongyang, June 20 (KCNA) — The State Stamp Bureau of the DPRK issued stamps (one individual stamp and one sheet) showing the newly-built terminal of Pyongyang International Airport and remodeled Mangyongdae Schoolchildren’s Palace.
The individual stamp carries the logo of the Pyongyang International Airport.
Seen on the upper part of the sheet are the logo of the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren’s Palace, the badge of the Korean Children’s Union and letters “Mangyongdae Schoolchildren’s Palace” written in Korean and English.
Portrayed in the center of the sheet is a panoramic view of the palace and in its lower part are the science hall, lobby and dormitory of the palace.
The terminal of the Pyongyang International Airport and the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren’s Palace were built and remodeled into monumental edifices in the era of the Workers’ Party of Korea last year under the guidance of supreme leader Kim Jong Un.
Meanwhile, the bureau published four individual stamps carrying photos of birds inhabiting the DPRK and other countries.
