Pyongyang, June 21 (KCNA) — DPRK Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho met and had a talk with Tapan Mishra, UN resident coordinator and UNDP resident representative in the DPRK, who paid a courtesy call on him Tuesday.
Discussed at the talk were the issues arising in developing the cooperative relations between the DPRK and the UN organizations. Convinced there were that the cooperative efforts of the UN organizations would give support and encouragement to the Korean people in their struggle to build an economic giant with self-development.
The resident coordinator expressed his will to make positive contribution to promoting the wellbeing of the Korean people by making sure that the cooperation of UN organizations with the DPRK would be steadily and smoothly implemented in line with the purpose of development and the humanitarian idea in the future.
