Pyongyang, June 21 (KCNA) — The U.S. drew Japan into a joint military maneuver in the Pacific, according to foreign press reports. Not long ago the U.S. lifted the ban on the import of parts of weapons from Japan.
This allows Japan’s munitions industries to deliver those parts to their U.S. counterparts as much as possible.
Minju Joson Tuesday says in a commentary that this shows ever-closer military cooperation between the U.S. and Japan.
The conspiracy and nexus between them in the efforts to realize their wild ambitions for aggression are nothing new, the commentary says, and goes on:
Since the end of the Second World War the U.S.-Japan collusion and nexus have changed in their nature due to the marriage between the villainous U.S. and its shrewd servant Japan but they remain unchanged in their purpose.
Japan has pushed forward its conversion into a military giant step by step with the backing of the U.S., calculating that Tokyo can realize its wild ambition for reinvasion after shaking off its ill-fame of being a war criminal state only when it zealously pursues the U.S. scenario for world domination. The U.S. on its part has zealously connived and patronized Japan in its moves to emerge a military giant with the calculation that the U.S. can easily carry out its strategy for dominating Asia by using Japan as a shock brigade.
This U.S. strong backing is little short of giving full rein to the Japanese reactionaries who have secured a legal foundation for reinvasion by adopting the “security legislation”.
The U.S., however, should bear in mind that it nourishes a viper in its bosom.
It is clear as a pikestaff that the U.S. will be a target of retaliation from Japan when the latter spurts poison from its venomous teeth of militarism in a bid to seek revenge for its defeat as it was the former’s rival during the Second World War.
