Kim Jong Il Praised by Personages of Finland, Sweden, South Africa

Pyongyang, June 24 (KCNA) — Lectures were given in Finland, Sweden and South Africa on June 17 and 18 on the occasions of the 52nd anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il’s start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) and the 16th anniversary of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration.

Kalevi Wahrman, chairman of the Finnish Communists’ League, said Kim Jong Il had done everything that he could do for the development of the party, the accomplishment of the socialist cause in Korea and the reunification of Korea to the last moments of his life since he started his work at the WPK Central Committee.
The chairman of the Communist Party in Sweden noted it was thanks to the leadership of Kim Jong Il that the WPK could victoriously advance the socialist cause, enjoying the full support and trust from the Korean people.
Bonakele Majuba, secretary of the Mfumalanga Provincial Committee of the South African Communist Party and chairman of the South African Association of Friendship and Solidarity with Korean People, said Chairman of the National Defence Commission Kim Jong Il made sure that the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the October 4 declaration, the programme for implementing it, were adopted, heralding the era of By the Korean Nation Itself, the new era of independent reunification-this was his distinguished feat in the history of the Korean nation.
He noted that Kim Jong Il is always alive as a peerless patriot, enjoying the boundless reverence from the Korean nation and progressive humankind as he protected the destiny of the country and nation with his outstanding Songun politics and brought an epochal turn in Korea’s reunification.
Korean films “Kimjongilia”, “Sci-Tech Complex” and “Songdowon International Children’s Camp” were shown at the lectures.
