Korean Photo, Book and Fine Art Exhibitions Held in Russia

Pyongyang, June 24 (KCNA) — Korean photo, book and fine art exhibitions were held in Partizansk City and Bikin District of Khabarovsk Territory of Russia from June 15 to 22 to mark the 52nd anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il’s start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

Displayed at the venues of the exhibitions were photos showing the exploits of leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.
Also on display were works of President Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un, books and photos introducing the true picture of the DPRK and art works showcasing the Korean people’s wisdom and talents.
Present at the opening ceremonies were personages of various strata and masses of Russia.
A vice mayor of Partizansk City said that the exhibition opened to celebrate the meaningful June 19, which was of great significance and that the exhibition would help the Partizansk citizens know better about the DPRK.
The chief executive of Bikin District said he was pleased with the opening of the exhibition and the photos helped him know better about how energetically Kim Jong Il worked for the country and its people.
