S. Korean Opposition Parties Disapprove “State-compiled History Textbooks”

Pyongyang, June 24 (KCNA) — Opposition party lawmakers in south Korea submitted a bill on prohibiting the “state-compiled history textbooks”, according to the south Korean KBS on June 19.

They came out with the bill on revising the law of primary and secondary education by deleting the existing article which stipulated the use of the “state-compiled history textbooks” at secondary and high schools.
The opposition parties will make all efforts to prevent the Park Geun Hye regime from pushing ahead with the system of introducing the “state-compiled history textbooks”, they noted.
