S. Korean Authorities Slammed for Trying to Ignite War against North

Pyongyang, June 29 (KCNA) — There was a firing drill in Yangphyong, Kyonggi Province of south Korea recently with the Second Division of the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces present in south Korea, helicopters and tanks of the First Air Force Brigade and the Third Armored Brigade of the puppet Ground Force and other massive war hardware involved.

The warmongers openly claimed that the war drill is to make a surprise preemptive attack on the “enemy’s” position and start a full-scale attack.
Meanwhile, the puppet military warmongers staged field mobile drill with the involvement of massive armed forces, tanks and armored cars under the First Field Army in Kangwon Province of south Korea on June 24 and 25 under the signboard of “recalling June 25 war” during which they fired bullets and shells, stirring up a war atmosphere.
Rodong Sinmun Wednesday in a commentary denounces this as premeditated moves to ignite a new war at any cost by hastening the preparations for a war against the north backed by outside forces.
The DPRK has made the most sincere efforts to ensure peace and security on the Korean peninsula and improve the deteriorated inter-Korean relations, it says, adding:
The south Korean authorities have responded to the DPRK’s good faith and magnanimity with such military provocation.
This goes to clearly prove that they have the least intent to improve the inter-Korean relations and that what they seek is only to unleash a war against the north.
The Koreans can never have sound sleep even a moment as long as the group of traitors is allowed to get hell-bent on the moves to ignite a new war in collusion with outside forces, indifferent to the destiny of the nation.
The south Korean ruling forces should clearly understand that of they persistently pursue the military confrontation with the compatriots in the north in collusion with outside forces despite the DPRK’s repeated advice and warnings. they will meet only miserable death.
