Pyongyang, November 9 (KCNA) — The south Korean Kyunghyang Daily News in an editorial on Nov. 7 accused the commander of the U.S. forces in south Korea of blustering that THAAD would be deployed in south Korea in 8-10 months to come and the scale of its battery would be bigger than that on Guam.
Meanwhile, the U.S. assistant secretary of State for East Asia-Pacific affairs asserted that the schedule for deploying THAAD will remain unchanged, the editorial noted, adding:
This goes to prove that the U.S. is working hard to meet its own interests, irrespective of chaos in south Korea.
If the U.S. is truly concerned for south Korea, it should withdraw its scenario of THAAD deployment, instead of expanding its scale.
