S. Korean Government Employees Enter into Strike for Park’s Resignation

Pyongyang, November 23 (KCNA) — The Government Employees Union of south Korea on Nov. 22 declared it would start a strike for Park Geun Hye’s resignation, according to Voice of People, the south Korean online paper.

At the press conference speakers said the results of survey of trade union members as regards the monopolization of “state affairs” confirmed that 70 percent of them approved Park’s resignation.
95 percent of them resolved to take part in the actions for settling the monopolization of “state affairs”, they said, adding they will join in the general strike of the Confederation of Trade Unions to be staged on Nov. 30.
