Pyongyang, November 25 (KCNA) — Officials and members of the women’s union met at the Hall of Women on Friday to vow to implement the tasks set forth in supreme leader Kim Jong Un’s letter to the participants of the 6th Congress of the Democratic Women’s Union of Korea (DWUK).
At the meeting Kim Jong Sun, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the women’s union delivered a report which was followed by speeches.
The reporter and speakers noted that Kim Jong Un made sure that the 6th DWUK Congress was opened and sent the letter “Let Us Further Intensify the Work of the Women’s Union under the Banner of Modeling the Whole Society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism” to its participants and gave the women’s union the highest honor of renaming it the Socialist Women’s Union of Korea.
They stressed that the letter serves as an immortal great programme to be always held fast in eternally glorifying the women’s union as that of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and of the Party under the banner of modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and further developing its work as required by the new era of Juche revolution.
They called for making a positive contribution to the prosperity of the country by thoroughly implementing the tasks set forth in the letter of Kim Jong Un and the decision made at the 7th Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
