Officials of Missions of Int’l Bodies Here Visit Flood-hit Northern Part of DPRK

Pyongyang, November 25 (KCNA) — The UN resident coordinator and concurrently UNDP resident representative and staff members of the missions of the UNICEF, the United Nations Population Fund, the WFP, the WHO, the European Union Programme Support and the Office of the Agency for Development and Cooperation of the Swiss Foreign Ministry in the DPRK visited the afflicted areas in the northern part of North Hamgyong Province from November 19 to 21.

They went round newly built dwelling houses, schools, kindergartens, nurseries, hospitals and clinics in Hoeryong City, Musan and Yonsa Counties and learned about the use and distribution of aid materials offered by international bodies and organizations to different fields.
They were admired to see the miracle wrought in the drive for turning adversity into favorable conditions thanks to the might of the great army-people unity.
Satisfied to confirm the proper distribution of aid materials and their effective use, they expressed their will to continue to render selfless help to the Korean people in their efforts to completely eradicate the aftermath of the disaster.
