Pyongyang, December 3 (KCNA) — Vice-Chairmen of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) Saturday visited the lodging quarters of the participants in the 8th Congress of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK).
Kim Ki Nam, Kwak Pom Gi and senior officials of the WPK Central Committee and the UAWK Central Committee met with the participants in the congress.
They congratulated the officials and members of the UAWK and other agricultural workers participating in the congress after performing merits in the work for developing the union into the militant ranks faithful to the party and the leader and carrying out the party’s agricultural policy.
They requested the participants to further glorify the idea and exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il for building the Juche-oriented UAWK and make contributions to bringing about a radical turn in the union’s work as demanded by the new era of the Juche revolution under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.
