Swedish Delegation Leaves

Pyongyang, December 3 (KCNA) — The delegation of the Institute for Security and Development Policy of Sweden led by Director Niklas Swanstrom left here for home on Saturday.

During the stay in Pyongyang, members of the delegation visited the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill to pay tribute to them and toured Mangyongdae, the birthplace of the President, the Jangchon Vegetable Co-op Farm and the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren’s Palace.
They exchanged views on matters of mutual concern such as the issue of the Korean peninsula with officials of the Disarmament and Peace Institute of the DPRK Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of External Economic Relations and the National Peace Committee of Korea and expressed their understanding on the principled stand of the DPRK regarding the Korean issue.
