Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) — The Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea on Friday sent a message of greeting to the C.C., Popular Liberation Movement of Angola on its 60th founding anniversary.
The message said that the Movement won the independence of the country and defended the nation’s sovereignty through an arduous armed struggle and has made great achievements in the work to consolidate the country’s political stability and national harmony and achieve the socio-economic progress for the past 6 decades.
It expressed satisfaction over the fact that the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two parties with a long history and good tradition are further developing in the interests of the peoples of the two countries through a joint struggle for independence against imperialism.
In the belief that the bilateral relations would continue to favorably develop in the future, too, the message sincerely wished that the Movement would successfully attain the high goal set by its 7th Congress and register bigger successes in its work for the country’s independent development and prosperity.
