Pyongyang, December 10 (KCNA) — Opposition parties of south Korea launched all-night actions for passing a bill on impeachment of Park Geun Hye on Thursday, according to MBS of south Korea.
The Minju Party sponsored a candle-light rally and a plenary meeting of its lawmakers till late at night before staging a sit-in outside the “National Assembly” building where an impeachment vote was to take place.
Lawmakers from the Party of People and the Jongui Party, too, staged a sit-in all night demanding the passing of the impeachment bill through the NA.
Declaring that they would do their best to pass the bill, they expressed their will to resign from their parliamentary posts and opt for dissolving the NA in case they fail to pass the bill.
