Pyongyang, December 14 (KCNA) — A national art exhibition was opened with due ceremony at the Korean Art Gallery on Wednesday ahead of the fifth anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il.
On display at the centre of the exhibition is a picture depicting Kim Jong Il standing on the top of Mt. Paektu.
Exhibited there are art pieces dealing with Kim Jong Il’s revolutionary career and his personality as a great man and dozens of art works showing the picture of the country where Kim Jong Il’s behests are carried into practice under the guidance of supreme leader Kim Jong Un.
Present at the opening ceremony were Kim Ki Nam, Yang Hyong Sop, Vice-Premier Ri Ryong Nam, officials concerned and working people of Pyongyang City.
Minister of Culture Pak Chun Nam made an opening address.
