Kim Jong Il Remembered in Russia

Pyongyang, December 15 (KCNA) — An event took place in Moscow on Dec. 8 to commemorate the 5th anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

The event comprised of Korean book and photo exhibition, film show, remembrance concert and book-donating ceremony.
On display in its venue were photos showing the revolutionary activities of Kim Jong Il and supreme leader Kim Jong Un. Also, there were works of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu and books and photos introducing the true picture of the DPRK.
The participants watched a Korean film “Leader Kim Jong Il Meets with President Putin of the Russian Federation”.
Then there took place a remembrance concert at which Russian artistes presented “Attraction and Reverence” and other Korean songs and Russian songs on patriotism.
The curator of the national hall of the Moscow City government said that Kim Jong Il had a historic meeting with Putin in the first year of the new century and thus opened a new chapter in the development of the Russian-Korean friendship and contributed to ensuring the world peace and security.
At the event, the works of the peerless great men of Mt. Paektu and books showing their greatness and the DPRK’s truce picture were conveyed to the curator.
