Russian Body Blasts UNSC’s Anti-DPRK “Sanctions Resolution”

Pyongyang, December 19 (KCNA) — The Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK on Dec. 9 issued a statement to condemn the UNSC’s adoption of “sanctions resolution” against the DPRK over its nuclear warhead explosion test.

The statement expressed deep concern about the UNSC campaign for putting pressure on the DPRK.
The UNSC must know the reason why the DPRK could not but bolster up its nuclear force, it said, adding:
The U.S. is reinforcing its strategic assets in south Korea, thus rendering the situation of the Korean peninsula extremely tense.
It also seeks to stifle at any cost the DPRK working hard for the wellbeing of its people and the prosperity of the nation.
Anti-DPRK sanctions will prove counter-productive.
Intensified sanctions will make the Korean people do their best for bolstering of national strength, united close around their leadership.
