Pyongyang, December 21 (KCNA) — Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, sent birthday spreads to Academician, Prof. and Dr. Pak Je Un, vice-president of the Academy of Science of Wonsan University of Agriculture, on his 80th birthday and Labor Hero Pak Mi Sul, manager of the Unha Garment Factory of Servicemen’s Families in Hamhung, on her 70th birthday.
Born into a poor peasant family in Hwadae County of North Hamgyong Province before the liberation of the country, Pak Je Un experienced the suffering as a member of the stateless nation. He had worked as a teacher and a researcher at Wonsan University of Agriculture with a single purpose to repay the benevolence of President Kim Il Sung, who liberated the country and let his hope for study be realized, and exerted all his efforts on education and scientific research.
He authored a lot of books, textbooks and reference books such as “Complete Book on Kimilsungia”, “Complete Book on Kimjongilia” and “Agro-Forestry Cultivation”.
Pak Mi Sul, who was born into an ordinary family in a mountainous village in Jongphyong County of South Hamgyong Province, has faithfully worked as the manager of the factory for more than 30 years, bearing in mind the benevolence of the Party.
She refurbished the building of the factory in line with the requirements of the new century and has over-fulfilled the national economic plan every year.
