Pyongyang, March 29 (KCNA) — Forest Science College came into being at Kim Il Sung University, the highest institute of Juche-oriented science and education in the DPRK.
The college will play a core role in carrying out the grand plan of the Workers’ Party of Korea for the forest restoration campaign, protecting land and environment and remarkably developing forest science, technology and industry.
In this regard, Pak Sung Ho, rector of the college, told KCNA:
Preparations for the establishment of the college successfully came to an end in a short span of time.
30-odd subjects for forest science were elaborated and teaching plans on these subjects already worked out with new teaching methods.
The college, which will open on April 1 this year, is fully equipped with educational facilities and apparatuses necessary for providing a world-level educational conditions and circumstances. And the enrollment of students and postgraduates was finished.
